If you submit personally-identifiable information after such a transfer, that information may be subject to the successor entity’s privacy policy;

From basic remote diagnostics to a custom maintenance agreement specific to your properties, TMI Communications has the right maintenance solutions for you.

We look forward to the opportunity to provide you with a competitive quote to include all of your properties. With all of your hotels under one maintenance plan you would have one number, one company for all of your service.

Service Support - Today and Tomorrow
At TMI Communications, we stand behind our installations. Many of our competitors install their products, and then refer you to the manufacturer for any issues that arise. Not TMI Communications! We will support any equipment installed according to the manufacturer’s warranty with the same level of professionalism and technical knowledge displayed in our installation process.

    Installation Turn-Over/Introductions:
Upon the successful installation and sign-off acceptance of your system, TMI Communications installation coordinators will turn your account over to our technical service staff. They will be thoroughly briefed on the installation and the specifics of your system so they are ready to assist should service issues arise.

    Thorough Database Records:
TMI Communications account management system includes a database record of the entire transaction, including detailed system specifications, installation notes and complete company contacts. Your system database will be stored off-site at TMI Communications for rapid security and disaster recovery purposes. A duplicate copy of this database is left on-site with your general manager for on-site technicians responding to service-related issues.

    Certified Technicians:
TMI Communications employs manufacturer-certified service technicians. Our technical specialists receive their training directly from the manufacturer. In addition, a majority of our support staff (sales team, project coordinators, etc.) are technically certified on the products we sell and support.

    In-House Test Lab:
In order to address service issues that may arise, our technical support staff has a fully-equipped test lab within our call center. We can duplicate any system errors in our lab and work through the solutions with our clients. All systems we sell are set up and operational in our test lab.

    Vital Spare Parts Stocked:
We stock what we sell. All of the critical components that may be needed for installations and repairs are stocked in our home office. Our suppliers commit to overnight delivery for most emergency orders.

    Service Support - Tomorrow:
We at TMI Communications value your trust and continue to strive toward a long-term relationship as your business partner. We offer many services to our customers still under manufacturer’s warranty or those choosing a TMI Communications maintenance agreement.

    24-Hour/7-Day-A-Week Service Response:
We realize that your telecommunications system is not just a necessity, but a revenue source for your property, as well. In order to ensure your TMI Communications-installed system is always functioning and generating revenue, we offer a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week support.

30 Days of Free Programming Changes:
The programming your system required in the planning stages can differ from the eventual programming that is needed on a daily basis. That’s why TMI Communications offers 30 days of free programming changes after your installation.

    Training Materials:
We don’t just install your telecommunications system and leave. We value the relationship we have with your company and its properties. We provide manufacturers’ training materials and videos (if available) for those associates needing a refresher course or new additions to your staff. We also provide on-site training guides and front desk reference documentation.

    Remote Diagnostics:
Utilizing the latest technological advances, TMI Communications can remotely diagnose many issues that may arise after the installation of your new system. A technician in our headquarters location or one at another installation several states away can assist your staff in resolving any issues.

    Developer Support From Vendors:
As one of the top dealers for our hardware vendors, we communicate regularly with them. Not just to purchase their products, but also to receive the latest product updates or to work through new or known system issues.
  • PBX and Above Property PBX Sales

TMI Communications employs an elite staff of professional, industry-savvy individuals. Their intensive training, year of experience and manufacturer certifications ensure your proposal will be a thorough review of the property, whether you are considering new construction, renovation, or upgrading your current property’s communications needs.

    Blueprint Design Take-Off:
TMI Communications account managers are experts in reviewing blueprints and determining the property’s equipment needs. In our review, we’ll see what others not specializing in hospitality might miss, like elevator landing phone locations, outdoor weatherproof enclosures, and cabling for pool chemical monitoring systems. It’s also an opportunity for us to assist you with local code issues and what impact franchise standards will have on the system design, based on your blueprints. We will assist you in reviewing the blueprints for missed locations, which can be a serious time and monetary expense and, in some situations, against building code violations.

    Consult Franchise Standards:
Because we are so well connected in the hospitality industry, our sales staff receives frequent updates to franchise standards policies and will ensure that your property is in compliance. We have even assisted some companies in developing their telecommunications franchise requirements. Just as important, we understand the importance and relevance of these franchise standards.

    Trunk Facility Analysis:
We will determine the number of telephone lines your property should have based on several industry-standard factors. We have a formula-based system to accurately determine the number of lines needed. We also factor in several issues like type of property, location (city, state), target occupancy expectations and type of usage (business vs. leisure guest). Other vendors not connected to the lodging industry do not have access to this information, and as a result have to guess how many lines a customer would need, potentially wasting money with excess lines or causing guest complaints with too few lines.

    Product Recommendation:
Utilizing our product and industry knowledge, our sales and technical staff will recommend the best products and services for your property’s needs. And at TMI Communications, you will always have options. We install and service two of the top four lodging PBX systems. We offer options in voice guest messaging, guest room phones, DVR, telecom facilities and call accounting. TMI Communications will create a detailed hardware configuration recommendation including: telephone system, voice messaging, room telephones, call accounting and other peripheral equipment, specifically outlining all of the requirements of your property and the options available.

    Proposal and Configuration Summary:
Your proposal from TMI Communications will be a clear, concise, easy-to-understand outline of the property’s requirements and the solutions we recommend for outstanding system performance and reliability.

    Installation Coordination:
During proposal acceptance, your property is assigned to a TMI Communications project coordinator. Although your TMI Communications account manager is still involved in your account, your project coordinator will be your front-line contact for the entire installation process. Our detailed project database will ensure that at any time, any TMI Communications associate can provide you with a project update. With timely and detailed communication, they will keep you informed of your project’s current status and timeline accomplishments.

    Project Turn-Over/Introductions:
The project coordinator assigned to your installation will contact and work closely with all vendors behind the scenes, including the PMS (Property Management Software) vendor, local telephone companies, long distance telephone companies, security fire alarm company, elevator company, “pay per movie” vendor, pool chemical company, etc. TMI Communications makes these transitions smooth and takes the worries off of your plate.

    Order Trunk Facilities:
TMI Communications will order local telephone lines upon request and will coordinate and monitor installation details with the local telephone company to ensure it gets done right. Our experience will assure an accurate order and attention to the details.

    Faceplate Design/Proof Approval:
TMI Communications project coordinator will work with your company to determine the details and design for your guest room and other property phones’ faceplates. You will receive faceplate design proofs for your approval prior to ordering, ensuring this process is done completely to your satisfaction.

    System Database Planning:
Working together, we will plan the optimum database for your system, including all designated options for your staff and guests. Our dedicated software programmers have many years of experience and will offer suggestions for your consideration to meet the needs of your unique property.

    System Pre-Programming:
As a part of our installation process, your new PBX, voice messaging, and call accounting equipment is rigorously tested in our facility prior to shipment to your property. We perform a number of tests in our lab that other companies wait until they’re onsite to conduct. We have dramatically increased our rate of successful installations — “the first time” — due to our processes. We also pre-program the system to your specifications to decrease the installation timeline and reduce your involvement while on-site.

    Project Acceptance/Sign-Off:
At the completion of the installation, TMI Communications presents a project acceptance sign-off sheet for your review and acceptance to ensure all aspects of the job have been completed to your satisfaction. We developed this sign-off sheet based upon our experience and with the owner’s interest in mind.
